Discussion HDRP FFT Water Shader for Unity

    Hi! I've recently been attempting to make a realistic water shader in HDRP for my game. The difficulty is that I also want to replicate how waves appear in typical circumstances and storms. The existing one runs in a shader graph and works wonderfully for swell waves. I discovered that the fast Fourier transform is the greatest method for creating realistic waves.

    There are also Gerstner Waves, which many games use, but don't ask me what the difference to FFT is.
