HDRP Detail Map Creation help

    Hi, I'm attempting to learn how to create Detail Maps. I can't seem to find anything in the manual relating to HDRP, but did find a post here that outlined what each channel is used for.

    Can anyone point to a tutorial or in depth explanation of how to use this map / how to set it up in PS?

    It's been few months since I used them, but I think in MaskMap B-channel you would put your custom mask which defines where the DetailMap should appear (white is full detail, black no detail). You can leave the B-channel completely white, and your DetailMap will appear all over the surface (sometimes you might want this, sometimes not).
