hdrp billboards

    tree billboards? still no?

    i literally have them showing up in the preview window. why wont they draw in the scene view? this is absurd. why is HDRP nurfed in so many ways. really, who is in charge of unity right now? unity needs better leadership. we understand this is a leet scriptable render pipeline, and we dont expect it to do everything for us, but this is stuff already working before, and should come basic with a big game engine like this. if not, it should be on the front page, a long list of every normal feature which doesnt work anymore.

    so my options are:

    1. code my own billboards system. (kinda busy right now)

    2. use a 2 poly plane as my last LOD level and forget about it changing perspective. (seems more likey) but then i have to waste time in another app. has anyone done this? seems like an easy workaround.
