HDRP 4.9.0, PCSS doesnt work, shadow filtering is terrible on any quality setting

    Subj. Am i missing something? 2K resolution shadowmap here, increasing the resolution just lowers the size of the pixelization effect, but it still very much noticeable.

    Just checked, yup. Only works with forward. They should probably mention that in the documentation. And what about those shadow artifacts?

    Those pixelated artifact i believe it because your shadow distance are too big. Maybe try to lower the split 1 and 2

    I solved this by going in my Light component (for example in the Light component of my Sun Light in my scene) > Shadows > Resolution (increase it)
