Hi recently updated project to Unity 2020.2.1f1 and I'm running a light bake with the GPU renderer, which started at 24 days then to 14 hours, Updated from 2019 lts. I have been rendering a small scene with 6 rooms built modularly. When I have run GPU render in past it has taken 1 to 2 hours at most. Have been waiting around 3 hours and keep getting a message pop up every 5 mins, "Hold On, G.I Tick", have never seen this before.

Also every time I go to click on an asset in scene it freezes unity and I get a message saying "Hold On, Editor.Mesh Renderer. OnInspectorGUI" which delays for 10 seconds and then go's away, Unity is currently unusable due to this in scene. this is when I'm not baking and auto generate lighting is off

Has anybody else ever had any issues like this with overly long bakes using GPU renderer in this version of Unity? I thought Unity had made big improvements with the light bake times in 2020.

Have 2070 RTX oc , 64 gig ram, thread ripper 1920X in pc
