Currently, there is no easy way to program the transition from one HDRi to another.
    Fast changing (swapping) -- yep.
Gradually fade in/out? Nope, out of luck...

Can you consider adding this feature into editor? :)

Hi, I am assuming you talk about the HDRP .
Supporting HDRI transition will require to lerp cubemap on the GPU. This is indeed something doable (and we do it for the color correction with 2D texture). This is in our backlog but have always been too low priority for now for us to investigate.

But why are you talking only about HDRP? Isn’t it possible with URP too?
Found on the forum for the built-in pipeline, although the shader code is not accessible right now (site is down)
https://stackoverflow.com/questions...by playing around with, fade into each other :).

Hi, HDRP have a a different sky system than URP and builtin, and as a HDRP developer I am answering for this part.
I haven't mention it wasn't doable, but only that there is higher priority for the team currently. If Macgic Lightmap switcher fit your need, it is nice.
