    Hi,

I've set up Visual Studio Community as my External Script Editor in Preferences -> External Tools.

However, every time I restart my project and Visual Studio, I have to manually hit 'Regenerate project files' to ensure full functionality of Unity-specific features (e.g. recognising that a coroutine needs to be called with StartCoroutine). Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks.

Happens to me too. Visual Studio Community 2022 17.0.5 with Unity 2021.2.8f1. Packages Visual Studio Editor version 2.0.12 and Visual Studio Code Editor 1.2.4. Every time I reopen unity I have to re-select Visual Studio 2022 in "External Tools" and regenerate project files.

You're better off posting in the External Tools sub-forum. You might be more answers there.
