I´ve started learning Unity and got my hands on this book, can I still use it or has the UnityScript language changed so much that I will hit alot of roadblocks and get frustrated?

I see that I can download older versions of Unity, but it doesnt go all the way down to 2.5.

woah...yeah...don't use 2.5...minimum you should be using is 3.6x and even that's pushing it. Check out my signature and try to get caught up with the new stuff :) And learn c# in my fundamentals, intermediate, and advanced series

The main differences are on in the UnityScript language, but the editor itself. That book is good, but you will find many differences in the editor. Moreover, most of the tutorials we teach are now in C# rather than UnityScript. If you have not yet had a chance, I'd look at the Unity Learn site. The author of that book is our peerless and fearless leader as head of the online content team, which learn is one part of.

If you want a book to learn from, Unity in Action covers the latest version, Unity 5! http://www.manning.com/hocking/

The print edition is juuust around the corner, and the book is already available as PDF downloads.

Guess the book is a little outdated then ;)
I choose to learn UnityScript because I had problems wrapping my brain around C# while UnityScript seemed easy, so I just made a choice. I'm under the impression that you can do mostly the same with both, so for a beginner at programming I guess UnityScript is a good choice given there's tutorials using it.
