I saw a new version of Unity "2022.1.2" published at 27 May, 2022.

So maybe offical has time to develop new version of project tiny?

Literally the only place the roadmap says ANYTHING about Project Tiny is hidden away at the very bottom in the "DOTS Runtime" thing in the "under consideration" section where, if you click through to it, it says it's on pause.

Unity's communication about Tiny specifically is really lacking and saying "read the roadmap" isn't much help when it's so hidden.

If its sole, hidden mention is to say that it's on pause then that sounds a lot like an answer to me.

    "He's dead, Jim."

I think DOTS team's primary focus now is Entities 1.0.

So its probably postponed until Entities is complete.
Its pretty hard to build efficient architecture on something that changes rapidly.

They pause Tiny to complete Entities is acceptable. Howerver, project tiny's sample has obvious bugs, and those bugs are seems not diffcult to fix. I hope they can fix it, then Tiny is available. Then everyone can wait long for new verrsion.

Tiny is basically an experiment - a research project. What they have learnt from it will definately get used at some point, but when it is available I doubt it will be "Project Tiny" anymore, it will probably be some additional package to add to DOTS packages. Its not going to get fixed and its not going to get developed anymore in its current form, and that makes total sense given they pretty much achieved what they wanted from it, they proved a way to provide a solution to author tiny experiences using unity - now they need to actually finish entities so they can build a new system utilising this knowledge. Tiny was never ready for production.
