lol yeah... ill probably change my tune, and some of the responses.
looks like a great little infinite runner
Its not quite an infinite runner, although most ppl will never figure that out
Passed the 10,000 download mark. Only took 5 months :S
Price for full version has been dropped to 1.50NZD for now. Updated version using U5 coming soon...
Congrats! Just hit my 50 downloads mark LOL! Anyways, I can imagine your game to be on the top charts soon!
That would be nice, but I'm not sure that will ever happen... as long as its still getting daily downloads I'm pretty happy though.
I saw you added IAP and ad in almost all your game!
I'd be great full if you can tell me roughly how much you earn from all your apps?
From Android platform only!
to date, I've made about $70...
the real money in is iOS. I might do a write-up about it at some point in the near future. Think ill do it at 6 months (since initial release)
Yes that is a fun concept and cool game. I keep losing at 30's though .
Would you say you get 1 cents or 0.5 cents per download on average on Android? When you say the real Money is in iOS, what do you mean by that, is the return about 3 times as much?
Looking forward to your insight and write-up.
from which date?
and do use Admob?
or another ad provider?
Pretty awesome, hard as hell.
That's total earnings since Day 0... (approx 5 months) note: about $50 of that I havn't received as my ad provider (Adbuddiz) doesnt pay out till $100. Unless you start hitting tens of thousands of downloads everyday you aint gonna earn a living on Android. Adbuddiz does have good pay rates, but im not getting enough traffic to generate any significant money.
As soon as I hit $100, I think I might drop adbuddiz and try heyzap though.
hehe, yeah its not designed to be easy, but it does get easier once you start remembering/learning the patterns
How did you manage to get such a spurt in downloads? Did you do anything in particular?
I must have cataracts or something. Yesterday was the first time I've seen your game James.
I really like the innovative originality and deviation you've done on your runner genre game. I'm attempting to do something kind of similar as well.
I'd be extremely interested in reading a post mortem on Hardkour, especially about marketing, your initial monetization setup, modifying the monetization and how the game is played after release and ROI.
heh, its easy to miss stuff in the this forum when it can drop off the front page in a day.
I should really do a post mortem. Ive talked about doing one.
Currently ROI is abysmal ($100 max at the mo), but IMO that's because it has only seen success on android.. well, marginal success. HA! currently sitting at 19,000 downloads (over 6 or so months), which is best effort to date, but not ground breaking.
Finally released an update.
* Now using Unity 5 yay!
* New Main Character
* Added new effects
* Updated UI
* Adjusted main game view.
* Integrated Heyzap and UnityAds
Update only available on Android at this stage. iOS update will come in the next few weeks. Postmortem will be released once I update iOS version.
Promote, promote, promote! I think this game has potential. It's hard and fun. Hit up all the mobile reviewers you can. Get it out there.
Yep always harder than it sounds. Got a big push coming soon. Will be interested to see what happens then.
Looks pretty cool!
This looks really good man , keep up the good work
There will be a webGL version available soon.
You can now play Hardkour online (WebPlayer).

Are you working on a new game?
Im always tinkering away with stuff. Spent a lot of time playing around with editor scripts lately.
No immediate plans for releasing anything though.
I just looked at your game. You removed ads etc was it because there was no traction from it so decided to make it completely free?
