Hard Surface Shader Pro Pack - Does anyone know how Draw First Draw Last work?

    Hello, I am considering purchasing Hard Surface Shader Pack Pro, mostly for the draw order feature it mentions in the documentation:

    However I am not sure if this is a sophisticated method used to achieve this, or if it is simply setting the "Queue" with Tags a higher or lower number?

    My concern is that using render queues does not solve my issue because when multiple objects with various queues overlap they may draw incorrect. Setting the queue works with a single object with multiple layers, but when there is more than one of that same object it gets messy and breaks the effect.

    I've watched the videos and looked for any information on technically how this works but cannot find any information.

    Can anyone with experience with the Pro pack confirm or deny that this is what it is doing before I purchase?

    Hi JAMiller

    It is just a render queue option. The shaders also do some Zpriming to fix Self sorting issues on single meshes.
