    The Script is meant for cycled playback of single or multiple frame sequences assigned to the material.

    Did not tryed Fairy House Kit nor recieved feedback about how it runs on mobile.

    Upgrade to Exteriors for $1 till September 25th. After 25th, upgrade price will be $10.

    Doing this way, I am asking to excuse us those who were depending on metallic maps as main point of buying.
    Because version 1.3 of Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit base had in description words about Physycally-Based Shading. But I did not supply v1.3 with metallic maps. So this was a mistake but I forgot to remove this.

    More justified prices are now on the Asset Store.

    I've have got two Sci-Fi Kits with Interiors+Exteriors and each I value the same.
    So, now Kit base v2 and Kit colony do have price $32.50 for each.
    The Kits with Interior cost is $22.50,
    these are Kit hangars and Kit base v1.3

    Question, For the Sci-Fi base and colony videos, did you use baked lighting? Or was that all real time / no GI?

    Real time, no GI.
    Also, Colony has all lights set in "cast no shadows" mode,
    but Base and Hangars has shadows turned on. In future updates I'll turn off casting shadows by default.

    Very nice work, am happy to see the variation in the new colony kit (have your sci-fi vehicles & drone which are also very nice).

    Some critique on the heavy station: I'd like to purchase this, but I find the station interior very bland. The interior feels almost monochrome and is (to me) somewhat visually fatiguing. If you do an update, would you consider paint, paneling or greebles which break up the uniform grayishness? I love the geometry but think the color scheme could really benefit from some variation.

    Heavy Station Kit base 2.21 Enhanced Edition
    The huge loads are distributed on the strong support pillars, securing space for the bunker or the center of operations. This heavy looking interior/exterior/top-down Kit is made to suit extreme environments - Space, Underwater, Underground, and On-ground.

    WHAT'S NEW in BASE2.21

    ENHANCED EDITION

    MODELING
    The new look for many objects. Flat surfaces got less tris. Round ones like the railings got more. To widen the possibilities new objects were added.

    MAPPING
    To reduce the drawcalls, most models were packed into themes. Each theme is a single Material. Some UVs has a bit of free space. This is reserved for future updates, so adding new objects will not require additional material.

    TEXTURING
    PBR was implemented – in a way as I think it should be. All the materials now has Metallic, Height and Occlusion maps, in addition to Albedo, Normal, and if it fits, Emission.

    SCRIPTING
    Corrected and amplified previous, and for widening the possibilities of the Kit made the New ones – all to work properly with the Unity 5.3 up to Unity 2017.3 or higher.

    Just a little niggle ....seems to be an intersecting polygon somewhere .I get this warning times 10....."A polygon of Cube.808 is self-intersecting and has been discarded"

    Now that You do mention this, about "mid sized space ship interior kit", yes, actually, I do have something like sketches out there.

    Sorry to hear this. All clear here, across 3 PC's and various versions of Unity.
    Because of this, may I ask for which version of Unity are You using, is there any addons?
    Maybe a screenshot of this error? Which object causes this?
    Any info could help.

    Yeah...did all that in proper order..even installed the cross platform and utilities packages when unity threw a bunch of errors asking for them after importing the effects and characters packages.Not a big deal...I tried with Unity 2018.2 and then with Unity 2017.3 , no add-ons with same result both times.A screenshot would just show the error message in the console as nothing appears outwardly broken.It looks like it just applies to a single model of a lighting fixture or something and if it is broken somehow I can certainly fix it if needed.

    Thanks for Your patience and being easy on the asset.

    However, reporting errors is not a niggle. So I appreciate this kind of report, because one of goals is ensuring smooth workflow, right from the start. But as I am not able reproduce it, nor Asset Store Team saw it. Because if they did, asset won't pass the proccess of inclusion on Asset Store.
    So this error is rare. If You manage to solve it, could I ask for what was done, so I could update, please?

    I own all your sci fi station assets (and then some, but I really can't fit those amazing fairy bridges in my station... :)) and I'm really happy with them, as they allow me to quickly visualize great-looking concepts. I now have a request based on a project I was prototyping:

    The majority of your assets allow me to build drop-dead beautiful interior, as well as ground-bound exteriors. What I'm looking for is a 'shell' type asset that matches the other assets so I can build a space station, i.e. outside walls for a vacuum-based station (for example: take the hangar demo scene - which I LOVE), and move the camera out. You'll be able to look through most outside walls.

    So why do I need 'outside' props? I want to be able to approach a station in a space vehicle, and then enter it, very much like I can with the planet-bound assets. The current problem is that the great DotTeam assets I already own aren't terribly well suited to build the outside of a space installation: I need walls (curved and straight) to encase the rooms and corridors I have built, platforms to mount guns, landing platforms, connections to the great hangar asset, and of course more girders, vents, stacks, solar panels, radar and sat dishes, lift platforms, force field doors - and all should hopefully integrate with the ports (doors) from the other assets.

    Any chance of that happening?

    Outside pieces that now do exist were added as quick fix for grounded Top-Down Project for another user.

    *Yes, it does say that remodeling stage is over, but it is not an obstacle to think about implementation of such useful thing as "shell" assets.;)

    Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit hangars v2 was sent for review!

    As "Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit Base V2 " and "Colony V2" have got several features, like to reduce drawcalls each theme now uses a single material, PBR look (kinda) was implemented, now same should apply to "Hangars v1.3" becoming "hangars v2".

    I welcome you first to watch promo video, and after take a look at screenshots!

    In case you would like know more here, then I'll post description at the end of this post.

















    The description is under spoiler:
    It is a series of modular artistic kits, and the pieces of one kit are compatible with another kit, within Sci-Fi Heavy Station series.

    944 prefabs if combined with Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit base & colony.
    337 meshes/269 prefabs if standalone.

    There are small modular kits within this Kit included:
    - New Modular rail system with crane
    - New Modular small pipelines
    - New Modular big pipelines
    - New Modular energy barrier-wall
    - New Modular stairs for outside

    New themes in Hangars v2 (143 new prefabs total):
    - Aggregates2
    - Garage
    - Outside
    - Top-Down2

    New PBR-like materials are coming with:
    - up to 4k textures
    - Metallic map
    - Height map
    - AO map
    - and ID map.

    Misc
    New animated mesh for Gateway
    New animated textures for Displays
    Added basic LODs that are:
    - contain two to three steps of super quickly decimated meshes
    - distances are set super quickly
    - made into prefabs
    - demo scenes are built with simple mesh

    MODELING
    A new look for old objects. New objects were added to expand your opportunities for creative development.

    MAPPING
    To reduce drawcalls, most models were packaged into themes. Each theme uses a single material. Some UVs have a bit of free space, which has been reserved for future updates (thus adding new objects will not require additional materials).

    TEXTURING
    All the materials now have Metallic, Height and Occlusion maps.

    SCRIPTING
    Earlier scripts have been corrected and expanded upon, and for widening the possibilities of the kit, new scripts have been created.

    17 themes total, covering:
    - Aggregates, Ballons and Cables, Cargocase, Consoles, Rail and Crane modular system, Reactor and Server
    - Aggregates2 are huge single, dual and trio Pipes, Flat reactor, Huge barrels with various pipes
    - Arches are three types of L shaped design elements, with customizable solid and/or transparent pieces
    - Door and Gate
    - Elevator
    - Floors come as Floor Frames in sizes of 10 and 5 metres. There are also two types of narrow Transition elements and four types of Hand-rails. To increase visual interest, there are solid and transparent Floor Fill pieces to fit in floor frames.
    - Garage are modular pieces for vehicle with wheels. Around that can be placed special maintenance platforms and with ladder for humans to get up. Also theme has own console and aggregate.
    - Outside has modular energy barrier with intent for placing around the base. Also huge stairs, animated radar, cone-shaped station.
    - Gateway are room-scaled areas for vehicles, with full-sized animated gates.
    - Pipelines1 are new small modular pipelines
    - Pipelines2 looks like ones in Base v2, but now they are modular
    - Props are small and medium barrels, small battery, small to medium to big boxes, and small but narrow and long box that can be stacked on itself in pyramid form
    - Supports are used to enhance heavy look of the base, and they fit into special slot in Floor Frame pieces
    - Top Bottom are used to increase visual depth of the level when needed, and they come in three different pieces
    - Top-Down has four types of walls for outside, and elements to close gaps for Top-Down use
    - Top-Down2 has new supports for outside that strenghten visual look, three additional walls for outside, and pieces for Top-Down use
    - Walls has 5 and 10 metres elements, flat and L and C shaped, with openings for doors, gates and windows

    Room-sized gateways allows various vehicles to let in, then heavy cranes do the unload process. Meanwhile, in narrow, 5 metres in width corridors, aggregates are working full throttle, and a web of modular pipelines is leading the eye into the depths of the station.
