    Hello,

I'm developing an application with unity,
But I am faced with a problem that is no less,
I seek to detect hands with vuforia (or any other system)
Also it would have to work with a webcam or a camera without any specific hardware,
But I can not help you?

This is very important because it is the basis of my project,
I hope to be able to count on your help,

    Regards,
    Nicolas

    They are developing that: http://blog.leapmotion.com/mobile-platform/

There's no hand tracking for mobile that's market ready, or that doesn't require another device (that I know of, you can check for yourself by googling "mobile hand tracking"). If you can't wait for leap motion or its competition you'll have to find another solution in your project.

The problem is that the hands do not have many features that a rgb camera could track. Thats why short range depth cameras like the leap motion are better option for this case.

Not saying its impossible but apparently not big developer is working on this(that i have found so far.).

I've just started looking into this myself. Have any of you tried the ManoMotion plugin? How did it work for you?

Another possibility to consider is Clay. There are even some claims that they've integrated their hand-tracking tech with ARKit (which would be great for me, as I'm using ARKit for head tracking). There is darned little actual content on their website, though.

I've written to them and asked how to get ahold of their alleged Unity SDK, so we'll see what they say. :)

    Hello jachana,
I have applied for Manomotion 15 days back, but havent received a word from your team. Can you put me on the top of the list? If so, I would be highly thankful to you. I am very excited to get the SDK and try a lot of things at entertainment and enterprise level.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Julio.
I am a student from Peking University and i have a research project these days about the input methods for google cardboard. After looking for so many hand tracking products, i find that the manomotion is exactly what I want. I have submitted two forms and get no response. Could you please put me on top of the list? I really need it.
