Graphics H-Trace: Global Illumination and Occlusion [ RELEASED ]

    BTW I also mentioned this on discord, but will repeat here:

    H-trace (HDRP) has an issue with DLSS and FSR2. In specific conditions* a dark bar of a few pixels wide, will appear on the right-hand side of the screen, and create severe ghosting when you move the camera to the right (the bars will ghost into the screen and fade over time). *conditions for this to happen:
    • The H-trace resolution scaling must be something other than "Half res". For example in full res, it will happen.
    • The DLSS or FSR2 scaling must be something other than 1.0 or 2.0.
    So basically H-trace is somehow ending up with a bad render target width/height in certain conditions.

    ....

    When I get a moment, I will quickly jump into the H-trace code near the parts where resolution is figured out - maybe the scaling factor of DLSS/FSR2 needs to feed into it somewhere. If you have a hint for where I should look, please let me know.

    very interested in v2 as well, primarily the APV fallback and performance gains, looks super promising!

    Is there demo available to showcase realtime and "fallback" (light source is off screen/obscured) lighting quality?
