GUITexture outdated?

    Hi all,

    Just starting my GUI stuff. The immediate mode GUI stuff is all well and good, but I prefer to use objects like GUITexture etc.

    Is there any significant overheads (speed, memory etc) to building GUI elements using GUITexture, GUIText (etc)?

    I've changed my mind - Immediate mode looks cool :)
