    Hi,

As it's essential for us to not miss an event in timeline, we are considering doing our own parallel events thing just for events. It's a little inconvenient to have to do this outside of the Timeline UI and have authors have to go to 2 different places for the same thing each time they need to synch it.

I was wondering if there's any plans for a guaranteed events track. It only needs to send a message or something trivial like that, but it must be guaranteed to send, even if it's late. Think quite a few people will otherwise feel that timeline isn't as good as asset store offerings which do have guaranteed events.

I don't think it's about feeling. It isn't as good, or good. It's unintuitive and buggy so far.

@hippocoder it is definitely on our roadmap.
We are still working out the event system and still lots of design but in the meantime we are also working on a workaround to trigger events through Animation clips.

Thanks for clarification. Please don't rush, these things need to be done right.
