    That sounds like it has frozen, crash it and restart

    Also post which version and file as a bug report if not done already :) It helps everyone that way!

    No, it just finished after I screenshotted. Project is not remotely large yet. Last LTS build.

    I haven't noticed any issues with this taking a long time on latest LTS. Have you tried clearing the library folder and letting it rebuild? Should be fast if the project is small.

    As my projects grew a bit (I have several, so they don't go exponential, I use several Unity project for one real one in order to be able to separate some functionality while developing and import only the things I need in the master) I noticed it too, what helped me is to exclude the Unity folders (all of them, including my projects) from anti-virus software and the windows defender. Since then, everything is like a breeze again.
