    Hey there folks,

    I finally finished my pack of foliage called "Green Stash". It's a pack of various plants coming in 3 to 4 different LOD's along with plenty of extra terrain splat textures and additional Mushrooms and even 2 animated Butterflies. I am currently awaiting approval on the asset store and hope you will enjoy using this foliage pack as much as I enjoyed making it! Lots of love and hours went into detail and realism. I hope it shows. I will post the link once it's live!

    And there I was hoping for some nice buds, a rizla and some cool vibes. Lovely looking pack though I wouldn't want to smoke those!

    I called it Green Stash for a reason ;) It's easy to remember since a lot of folks associate it with some other "Green Stuff/Stash" :p Glad you like it though.

    @impheris - I am not quite sure why you think that would change the quality of the plants. Even close up they look plenty good on my end and I have a pretty critical eye :) In a real case scenario you wouldn't really get that close to inspect them anyways as they are usually "ground cover" plants first and secondly the players attention usually is somewhere else (probably focusing on a target or objective). With that said, the green stash is pretty to look at but it's not meant to steal attention.

    @Petroz - Did you try again using Firefox and a different browser perhaps? I have not encountered any issues. Might have been a glitch.

    I tried twice unity player crashed both times. I have played other unity web browser games on that machine. It worked for me in Firefox 8.0 on another computer. It's probably just a version mismatch type of thing.

    Foliage looks great, good job!

    Might perhaps be worth reporting if it persists. I haven't heard of any other crash reports though. The scene isn't using anything fancy script or otherwise. Anyhow, glad you like it :)

    Looks great, but I think there should be some sort of wind animation of a sort/somehow... It all looks pretty great to me, but in my opinion, everything just seemed to still. The only thing that seemed to move was the butterfly D:

    @Thomas

    Some of the best vegtation I've seen, congratulations.

    Quick questions:
    How's the polycount looking ? (per obj and maybe per pack)

    @xzile40
    An animated bend can be done in 2 minutes, but you do make a valid point. Possibly the only thing that looks a bit off.

    @azzogat - The vertice count is anywhere from 300 to 3000 depending on plant and LOD. Hardly an issue therefore unless you want to develop for iOS but that's not the target group here :)

    Glad you like it!

    Green Stash has been updated to Version 1.1 in case you haven't noticed. I fixed a problem with Pivots on some of the plants. Thanks again for your support folks! Greatly appreciated!

    It looks great, and I honestly don't see a problem with the texture maps.
    I think the detailed geometry more than makes up for the texture map. I love how you have such a variety of plants, and looking in between them near the middle it just looks like a plethora of all kind sof plants. Wouldn't mind being shrunk down to wander through there.

    Thans RPGKing - That's actually where there is 3 to 4 LOD's of each plant. You can use the lower res ones or use the new LOD feature in Unity 3.5 to allow for greater detail when you are close to any of these plants.

    Presentation is important after all isn't it? I always try to show my art in the best way possible as it reflects on myself.

    Hello,
    I've recently bought this asset. I just would like to know how I could use with the paint tool. Imagine I would like to include in my terrain the peppermint plant, how should I do as sort to paint rather than place individually my plants?

    Also, I have an error message related to "the Nature/Soft Occlusion" to use. Is there anything special to do because my plants are currently flickering.

    Thanks for your help.
