    Background:
I come from a virtual production practice of displaying video feeds & files on planes positioned within 3D space. This approach makes for an incredibly efficient means of seamlessly incorporating live action into environments under the principle that Lit Materials receive virtual lights, cast virtual shadows, and receive fog effects.

    Inquiry:

Is a similar outcome (recieving lights and fog effects) possible when using Full Screen Materials within the Graphics Compositor?

To my mind, casting shadows is out of the question due to the video having no position in 3D space - is the same true for all other effects?

Are Full Screen Materials limited to only receiving post-processing effects such as color adjustments, chromatic aberration, exposure changes, etc.?
