Gradle build failed

    I've seen a lot of comments about this same bug, but none of the solutions semm to work. I have this game, that I'm trying to update it, it was working fine, until today, when I decided to build the .aab and got all of these errors

    just make sure both JAVA and graddle can go online and do their stuff on their mothership server. They need to check something and download some files.

    else it will fail

    Android build not building:

    Recently (circa July 2022) there have been reports of Unity's installer failing to install the Android Tools.

    If it's not that, then here's how to troubleshoot:

    First, make a blank project with a single blank scene and prove that it builds successfully.

    If it does NOT build, then go fix your Unity installation, or your other tools, such as Android SDK, NDK, JDK, etc.

    Until you can build a blank project to the target platform, don't fiddle with anything else.

    Once you can build a blank project, now bisect the problem by bringing over parts of your current project and building it one subsystem at a time, perhaps stubbing things out that might trigger compiler errors.

    Most often things that prevent building are third-party libraries such as Firebase.

    Once you identify the subsystem, go to the documentation for it and make sure you are doing it correctly.

    It may also be helpful to work through a tutorial or two for that subsystem.

    you need to check your firewall, there should be some area where blocked apps are listed. If the firewall is set up to deal with stuff automatically it may have decided that blocking those apps may be a good thing. Which actually it makes sense as they are apps which had a history of known security issues.

    graddle is especially one of the most annoying thing ever. both unreal and unity use this graddle which I never understood what it actually does and WHY it can't work offline. Every time you build the app whatever minor change you do it needs to go online to get some files and whatever.

    I've lost one time two days of trying to figure out how to make it work offline. According to internet legends of forum it appears that there may be some holly grail of making this gradle work offline. I never figured how, it remains the eldorado for me.
