Gradle build failed with Unity 2018.3 - Error while merging dex archives

    I face the same issue, using 2020.3.0f, and the above option of minify is not avaialbe in 2020, any other solution?

    ok so for me I don't have the 
    Gradle experimental
    under Minify on unity 2020.3.5f1, what I did to fix it is to check Release
    The problem appeared when I added AppOdeal sdk for mediation while I had already some Firebase files
