This Package is the Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit hangars AUGMENTED, and it is about massive loads that are distributed across strong support pillars, providing a secure foundation for the bunker or the center of operations...

It is a series of modular artistic kits, and the pieces of one kit are compatible with another kit, within the Sci-Fi Heavy Station series.

The AUGMENTED version comes with
- The “Source code” of the Texturing - ID & Curvature & Height Maps
- Levels of Detail (LoDs), which provides further optimization. They are prefabs with custom collisions
- Additional Prefabs

Overhauling of the following in v2.x, which came after v1.2:

MAPPING
To significantly reduce Drawcalls, most models were packaged into Themes. Each theme uses a single Material. Some UVs have a bit of free space, which has been reserved for future updates (thus adding new objects will not require additional materials).

MODELING
An amplified look and optimization for the old objects; new objects were added to expand Your opportunities for creative development.

TEXTURING
Adventuring in the world of PBR, all the materials now possess Metallic maps.
PSD for GUI is included.

SCRIPTING
Earlier scripts have been corrected and expanded upon, and for widening the possibilities of the kit, new scripts have been created.



Unique Core Construction elements to the Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit base: Floors, Walls, Arches, Outside Walls (Top-Down Theme), Supports and Partitions2.
Unique Transition Facilities: Doors, Stairs, Ladders, and Corridors.

19 themes total of 318 Prefabs, covering:
- Arches narrow and wide bases, each has three mounting points at a different height for two types of Girdes
- Channels an Arms piece, Corridors with an opening for Doors variants, Crossroad for an opening for Doors variants, and their Top-Down versions
- Displays about 20 animated textures for pieces ranging from small boxes to radio tower to big displays, and additionally three types of animated GUI screens of the consoles
- Doors Four Scripted Door types, Electronic gate and its pieces, and Handrails
- Equipment Three types of scripted Consoles, small boxes, big screens, short and tall monitoring devices, a Radar and its separated parts, a radio girde, an antenn, and a Substation
- Floors pieces for Small rooms with an opening for Ladder and Floor Fills, pieces for Large rooms, Pentagonal, Hexagonal floor pieces, Top-Down pieces
- Floors Fill pieces for Center, Side, for Handrails around the openings, complete prefabs for Blocked Area, Blocked Center, for Ladder Center, with Blocking elements, Pentagonal and Hexagonal pieces
- Hexa & Penta Rooms set of prefabs for Pentagonal and Hexagonal rooms using appropriate floor pieces
- Ladders strong Ladder piece for use with Floors, and a Ladder for outside use
- Partitions
- Partitions2 huge variety of differently shaped pipelines in various colors mounted on the tall base
- Pipelines standalone pipelines of differently shaped form and in various colors
- Props small to medium Barrels, small to medium Boxes and medium to large Tanks
- Stairs huge set of pieces of the Stairs, for ease of use with pre-built prefab compositions, and various types of the elements including Reinforced, Simple, Sloping, and additionally standalone Handrails for the purposes of modularity
- Supports

- Top-Down Glass roofs including Square, Pentagonal and Hexagonal, Solar panels, exterior Walls, exterior Arche and Top-Down Pieces

We want it to be a simple constructor. Just ten meters left. Just ten meters up.
Want something in-between? It is five meters. Then. Room 20x20x10? Or some storage 70x30x40?

To look durable, so you can use it in harsh conditions - like underwater, underground and space. With base Kit you have a place for humanoids... multi-floor system... tunnels... wide rooms... scripted doors and ladder... detailed ceiling and underfloor. In the package are included walls, floors with possible underfloor, tunnels, stairs, doors, equipment, etc. It is 142 Prefabs in 14 Categories. You may place walls on walls to get the second floor. Or third... There are also ambient and door sounds.

The Kit comes with a script for the automated Door block control, a script for working with the Ladder blocks and a modified FPS Controller Script. Unity3D 5.x compatible and Physically-Based Shading ready.

You wrote this in the asset store description: "Important
Prefab Dot_FPC (First Person Controller from DotTeam) have to be used in order for character to interact properly with the scene." so my question is: will this asset work with the UFPS kit?

Just modified standard Unity 5 FPC for comfortable use of Ladder, so you can look around while on it and camera won't shake after descend or climb. All changes are Noted inside of FPC script and are meant for future integration with other First Person Controllers (FPC).

So, asset will work with UFPS and Doors still gonna open and close.
But for Ladder to work like Default with UFPS, as well as any other FPC, it is needed to apply these changes.

However Ladder will work, so you have possibility to go up or down while you test something.
Is it UFPS : Ultimate FPS, by the way? If so I could look into it.

It is no problem. At the moment I am looking for solution and aim to respond within next few days.

 

I have already bought it yesterday have no time to test it yet with UFPS... will do that in the weekend.

 

I just got to the top of ladder with UFPS. It is needed to drop Script by UFPS called "vp_Climb" into climbable object, which is collider and is child to Ladder object. As their manual says, press "F" to climb. Advanced Player was used. However, did not used "vp_FPInteractManager" nor "Layer to IgnoreRaycast". If on climb camera is facing wrong direction try to rotate collider of climbable object.

[v1.1 released ] Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit hangar - overriding fixed

• Fixed compatibility issue with Sci-Fi Heavy Station Kit base.
  Previously, because of conflicted identical names of Meshes from different packages these .fbx where overriding each other.
  Now names of such .fbx are modified so overriding no longer occurs. Naming of corresponding Prefabs is not changed.
  
• Dot FPC was modified to be exact copy of Dot FPC from in Heavy Station kit base.
  
• Info file was added to the package with Name and version of package as well as links to Forum, Web-site and e-mail.
  
• Scripts that are necessary for compatibility were added.
• No overriding happens at combining two Kits, thus Console log is clean.

Introducing Version 1.3
- Overall -50% tris from colliders. Colliders were redone for all prefabs, with box colliders and low poly mesh.
- Light leaks were fixed, by modifying light source.

I purchased "Sci-fi heavy Station kit hangar" but I'm havg a problem to make the demo run. I've got another packet installed which installed the "crossplatforminput" before. So I'm having now a error message with the content: "the type or namespace name VirtualInput could not be found". What prefabs or scripts should I delete in your asset to make the error message dissapear?.

- Is this compatible with transparent material? Cause I have a fade option in my game for objects between the camera and the player;

- Yes, it is compatible with transparent material, because it uses Unity Standard Shader. Also I did not used any transparency in Fairy House Kit.
- Have plans adding interior (inside), but at the moment not focused on it.

I took advantage of the update of scifi heavy kit base to version 2.0 and would like to know if everything from version 1.3 is included or should I maintain that version also? I only ask because unity wants to keep re-downloading 1.3 after 2.0 has already been downloaded and it replaced the version 1.3 file...but then prompted me to update 1.3 again ??

Version 2.0 has all of version 1.3. So you do not need to maintain both.
