Grab, rotate and move like in Blender?

I love how it works to move objects in Blender, by tapping G anywhere on the screen, you Grab the selected object and can move it, and click to release it. It's very helpful and I don't need to click a small transform box. Also you can lock the direction using XYZ keys.

The same works for Rotate (R) and Scale (S).

Is there any way to make an editor script, that would let me do this, and use these commands? I tried adding G, R and S to Unity hot keys, but it only selected the correct tool.

    I would LOVE this :)

Well, I think those are the default keys to choose a transform tool, which I changed to G, R and S. I still have to find and click the transform square to move it.

It's different in Blender, you press G, and you can start to move your mouse, and the object moves along, without having to click the transform icon. It's very effective, as long as something is selected, you can move it, even if it's in a weird place.

It seems as it should be possible with an editor script, but I don't know where to start. :)
