I've got a problem migrating from “Cloud Save” to “Saved Games” using play-games-plugin-for-unity. Documentation is poor, no samples, ignorance on issue tracker.

The issue is in not writing snapshot when I call `CommitUpdate()`.

I open snapshots via `OpenWithManualConflictResolution()`, trying to pass both `DataSource.ReadNetworkOnly` and `DataSource.ReadCacheOrNetwork`. I give different descriptions to new savegames. And what I sometimes observe, is that opened snapshot has new (updated) metadata but old (outdated) binary data.

Has anyone faced such an issue? Any clues would be much appreciated.

    Hello!

I'm seeing the exact same thing. I've also seen this behavior when using two completely different Google Play Games plugins, as well (including the the play-games-plugin-for-unity that you mentioned).

Did you ever find any more information about this? There's quite a few similar issues reported at the plugin's GitHub (https://github.com/playgameservices/android-basic-samples/issues/168), but they still seem to be outstanding :(.
