I am going to publish my game to Google Play, but I used a movie soundtrack in it!
Is that legal and pass the google play policy?

I would think using a piece of music without having obtained the rights to it would be a violation.

Music is like visual art and code and so forth. You need to have a license to use it if you did not develop it yourself.

Yeah it will be considered as policy violation, so you can't do that without taking the necessary approval.

You'd definitely be better off finding a royalty free soundtrack in a similar style, or having someone compose something similar. What soundtrack is it out of interest?
