Google Maps To Unity

    Want to start building my game scene which is partly based off a real area. What is the best way to get data from Google maps and apply it to a unity terrain? I'm just looking to shape the terrain, not texture.

    You can use Sketchup to import a view from Google Earth, which is essentially the same data as Google Maps. Go from there.

    Never used sketchup. I'll ave a look. Thanks.

    Any other way to do this? I looked up on sketchup and Its too expensive for me at the moment.
