With 2018 LTS and Android, I do not have "Render outside safe area" set and start in non-VR mode.
When the app enters VR mode for Cardboard the view is offset by that safe area, where as the overlaid central line is not so there is mis-alignment. Not sure if bug or feature of not allowing rendering outside of safe area?!

I have the same issue 2019.2.14f1. Did you manage to fix it?

No it seems to assume you would use the whole screen for VR mode, only the overlay is wrong, it technically seems to work if you align by images.
Cardboard support is moving to Google plugin soon, but it might be worth a bug report

I solved the problem activating "Render outside safe area" in Player Settings.. but in my new Moto G8 Android 10 I think is rendering Left eye in the right side and right eye in the left side..

Yes you can not limit to the safe area but I need to for non VR GUI.
My bug was put on hold because I have not had time for a minimal demo to show it, but clearly it is a bug...
