Can someone recommend some good in-place animations?

I think I’ve found idle, walking, and running so far.

However, I’d like something like maybe dancing or cheering.

I’m thinking of doing a trivia game, so I’m looking for some sort of celebratory in-place animation.

    Thanks.

See if you can get your hands on Mixamo's animation library. They were freely available at one point during Mixamo's transition to Adobe. Or go to http://www.mixamo.com and buy the ones you want a la carte. This way you can customize them, too.

Alternatively if you have some animations that you like but are not in-place - you can zero out the transforms of ANY animation that has root motion in (most) any 3D package.

Import the animation into the 3D package as .fbx
Select the root node and zero out the transformation/translate motion. This will translate everything to the center of the 3D world - and since fbx imports all animation data as FK - all inverse animated limbs will follow the root node.

Note - this will need to be done on every keyframe of the animation length, 5 minute job to get in-place animations from root translation animations. ;)

I found a checkbox that looks like it can away all the root motion:
