    Hi folks!

I'm from Secret Lab, tiny indie team based in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. We're working on a bunch of games at the moment, including this one: Gnome's Well That Ends Well.

We'd love feedback on the art style, as well as anything else you might spot. Here's some screens: http://imgur.com/a/8tlCK

The death effects look very good
    Art style is great
Is the game a really hard type game?

Just did a Paint over to show my thoughts. Hope you don't mind,

I feel like the objects are well polished but the tiles are lacking? For some reason I didn't like the blue/purple tiles.
I would saturate the buttons a bit (not too much) but enough that the player can see the buttons out of the corner of their eyes but still focus on the game.

    Hi all!

@olaHalo It's not going to be super hard – we think the "fun" is mostly the different ways the gnome can die, rather than getting the objective (the treasure) at the bottom of the well. We're going to make a level editor eventually, with sharing abilities, and such!

@MBRogers Thanks for the paint over! This is great feedback, and you've conveyed it well. We'll definitely have a play with the visuals based on your feedback.

Would love to hear any further thoughts from yourselves, or from others. Thanks for looking!

I think the game looks like it could be fun to play. I actually liked the brightly coloured tiles.

I think you may need to add some blood to the death animations! ;)

How many ways can the gnome die? If the 'fun' is the different ways the gnome can die there has to be a lot of variety, probably 8-10 different death types isn't going to cut it. Probably 3 times that many would be an acceptable number.
