    Hello!
(Bristol UK) Our theme this year was the sound of a heartbeat.. extremely literal. We didn't want to do anything with a heart in, instead something very abstract with audio and visual beats in sync.. we went full circle and in this action packed out-of-body platformer you play a still beating heart on a desperate search for spare blood! (Or something like that..).

    May I present to you,

    WTF Is this?!
Beat! Is a side scrolling platformer with the goal of collecting all the donor blood bags after you made an escape from your fleshy cage! More details can be found here!

Ok, so what do I do?
+ Roll side to side by tilting your device left or right! (Web player uses arrow keys)
+ Your heart will beat when you hit the floor, but you will loose some blood!
+ Don't loose all your blood or you will die... :(
+ Collect donor bags to gain more blood... :)
+ But don't collect too much or you will explode!!
+ Collect all three donor bags as quickly as you can to win :D

This is great! Who made it?
Beat! Was made by myself, Tom Waterhouse, Dave Hall Ben Tinson, a spontaneous four man team who had never met before the Global Game Jam 2013!

Hmm.. It looks like you didn't finish it though..
You're right there! We ran out of time, sorry!

Wait, what's that about a Global Jam Game?
The Global Game Jam is a global event sponsored by major technology and software companies to bring people in the games industry together to create fantastic games in 48 hours. That's right, all the games from the Global Game Jam were created in 48 hours or less! Our team created Beat! in about 43 hours, with only 5 hours rest!

I like this game, it is amazing you made it in only 43 hours!
Do you plan to finish it? I am sure it will be a hit once you do so...
