Glam Glitter Shaders 2 - The shader never seen before!

    Could do with transparency added <.< Any idea when your get round to this? I have noticed you have talked about it.
    Still a Great Shader ^.^

    I'm working on the transparent shader right in these days.
    But I don't know when I'll be able to publish it, I hope by the end of the year.

    Sorry for the late reply but I didn't receive the notification.

    The problem is the automatic cubemap generated by Unity.
    You have to create a custom cubemap to make it work with the shader.

    The cubemap included with the package was done with the old system with 6 images.



    For reference you can find the sample cubemap inside Glam Glitter Shaders\Samples\Scene folder.

    How did you go with adding transparency? I've bought the shader a couple of weeks ago, but transparency would be very handy for my current project, specifically with the glitter shaders.

    Hi,

    I bought asset and when I try in Editor Mode works like a charm, but when I make one executable is totally different, without lights, without brights

    I'm using Unity 2018.3.6f1 and make Windows 64 .exe

    Can you help with that issue ?

    Sorry guys but I have not received notifications.

    Should be a light rendering problem I guess, but if it works in the editor it's not a shader problem.
    Try doing tests with quality settings.


    Sure, as I said in a previous post:
    With the new Unity shader system the compilation is already optimized for mobile.
    The only real limit is the maximum number of textures that can be managed by old smartphones/tablets.
    Now the new mobile devices have improved a lot so I do not think it is still necessary to make a specific version.
    I had done a test on an old Samsung S3 Neo and everything worked perfectly.

    Hello, I need to use Unity Version 2017.4.15f1 for a project. Is it possible to get the shaders compatible to this version? I got the shaders installed but nothing is moving at all.

    Glam Glitter Shaders looking great even on WebGL1.0 :cool:

    The only thing missing is a cut-out version of the shaders. I'm hoping that's still something you're considering.

    I have already made the new version with cutout and transparency.
    I think I'll release the new version as a beta, so I can get some feedback before making it official.

    Never tested in AR/VR.
    If I remember well someone had written about weird effects.
    I do not know what to tell you.

    Is it possible to have a single PNG texture with an alpha channel to combine the base RGB texture and the Mask texture of the Holo D - Specular Textured shader? (for asset optimization purposes)
    I'd assume we would also have to invert the mask in case no alpha exists to behave as if there's no texture?

    If yes, how would one modify the shader to achieve this?

    Can this effect apply to the mobile camera?
    I would really want that I can apply this glitter effect to the realtime camera
    Please let me know if this is possible.
    I would like to know if it is possible by using or modifying this asset

    I don't see where it said it's made for HDRP. Perhaps you'll have to open the shader and make changes to the code to turn it into a HDRP shader yourself.

    Hi there, would love to be able to use this in URP. Would happily pay for an upgraded version if you do make it for the current pipelines.
