Hi there, I'm GIS developer fairly new to the Unity world. I was able to integrate GIS services into VR thanks to the plugin ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity. Now I want to take a step further and bring cartographic services to AR via Unity MARS. Has anyone tried this before? Do you have useful tips? There is not much documentation on this Thank you
I haven't tried doing anything with GIS data in AR myself, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.
Currently, the camera of ArcGIS is a child transform of the Map GameObject. To zoom in/out and rotate, this camera's pose is changed, not the pose of the map or the globe. Wouldn't this set up create conflicts with the ARCamera of ARFoundation and the tracking?
