    Hi !

I am a one-man game developer who is just getting started.

I am currently using Unity 5 and Unreal Engine 4.
I have very good experience with C# (I started developing games with Unity 4) and some experience with C++.

I can model some 3D models if I have reference images.
So , I started learning how to draw.

Now , I want to make some sound effects for the game.
I have FL Studio 11 but I don't know how to use it !

Does anyone here knows some tutorials for FL Studio for me to get started (I have no experience at all with sound design !) ?

    Thanks in Advance

Why did you purchase a software suite you don't know how to use or have no experience in the subject matter?

Is there a software to create game sound effects completely on the computer? I mean no recording, no real instruments, ... etc

Honestly, getting good professional audio is not a trivial task - fewer games would have awful audio if it was. Audio engineering is just as complicated as 3D animation, and similarly while anyone can figure out how to animate, getting professional results is a totally different story.

If you want "boxed" sounds, just get a nice keyboard or synth (doesn't have to be expensive, there are even iPad apps that can do neat synth audio), and maybe when you're at a point you think you have something marketable, hire a professional to do your audio. You can spend less than a good software package will cost anyway, and you can build relationships with people who can go on to do your music. Also, you'll save yourself a ton of time fiddling around in a field you're not familiar with (and ultimately time is the most important commodity any of us have).

Game development's comprised of many aspects...focus on the ones you know you can do well first. Don't get stuck on the treadmill of DIY hell.

    FL Studio!
    ;)
Or any other DAW. AKA Digital Audio Workshop!

Use the Triple Oscillator in FL Studio, to make many various/rare/unique, sound effects.
That is one of you best friends!

You could also use, some of the other FL Studio plugins, to make many other various sound effects as well.

If you're using the DAW called LMMS and you want to make game sounds, the super duper easy way.
Then use the VST called Freeboy!

Freeboy can make all types, of old school, retro Mario sound effects and other Nintendoey type sound effects too etc. :D

    I highly recommend it!
    Wrd!

Yes. FL Studio will do absolutely everything you need to make good sound effects and music for your games. . . I used it to make the sounds for my game.

    @OP
Youtube has a gazillion good tutorials on how to use FL studio. I literally just went to Youtube and typed "FL Studio Game Sound Effects" and got usable results.
