Hey, so I have to admit that Brackeys calling it quits was a real gut punch for me and I’ve been trying to find other vloggers to follow.

And I’m shocked that this guy doesn’t have more viewership.

Jason Weimann has some great content and is very suitable for intermediate Unity users.

I’ve been binging his videos and the content is fantastic!

If you haven’t watched his videos give a try.

Honestly I think his videos are much better than Brackeys, if you are like you said, intermediate (or above). IMO Brackeys is more for beginners or people without much dev experience.

I watch his content from time to time as well as the content by Infallible Code. Lately both channels have been collaborating together which is great as I tend to enjoy watching podcast style videos where they discuss and review code together.

Sadly Charles more or less disappeared nowadays, but luckily both channel outgrew their elongated "SOLID principle is the golden mana the Gods sent to the Earth"-phase. I like both.

Always annoys me when I see Brackeys don't put
    [SerializeField]
, and instead put public variables

I am not, as he is a relatively newcomer to the scene yet already has 130k subs, I remember when he was on around 9k - the quality has pretty much always been good, so no surpise that a year or two later and he is on really decent youtube numbers. Really good to see :)

Lol, honestly my one gripe about his videos is I’m always getting adhd and wanting to look at the stuff on his shelves.

I think that’s because noobs get confused easily with them.

I really need to work on using it.

I agree. The Brackeys audience is generally trying to get something working at all. Setting variables as public gets that done, without getting side tracked on other topics.
