Hi. When wanting to gave players the option to save game data to the cloud, is it advised to have them create an account with

    a) Facebook
    b) Google Play Games (and whatever the Apple equivalent is)
    or
    c) Playfab? (which is what I am using, or some other backend)?

I am trying to add IAP to my game, and I need to have a backend for that obviously. But I realized that it would be wise to also allow players to create an account so their data is stored on the cloud (and they can resume it even with a different phone).

    Hello @zeroBudget

You could allow your players to create an account with Unity Player Accounts and then use Cloud Save to store their data in the cloud. Please refer to the documentation for more details (Unity Player Accounts, Cloud Save).

Of course, I will probably try that in my next game. I was focusing on PlayFab since I had already started with that in my project. But I can take a look at that.
