GearVR3 Controller

Does anyone know if the unity 6 or 2017 supports the new GearVR3 motion controller?

Yes, that article states which Unity versions has the latest OVRPlugin built in so it supports the motion controller (as well as since then 5.6.0). Going forward I think all versions will have it and it can be installed manually if your stuck on an older version that works well for Gear VR.

I've had no issues on any of the listed versions when developing my plugin for the gear vr motion controller down in my signature.
