    Hi all,

I represent a small Unity developer looking to integrate Unity Analytics into our experience.

However, after reading the Unity GDPR documents and several forums, I am still confused as to what exactly I need to do keep us GDPR compliant.

    My Assumptions:
    1. I do NOT have to ask the user explicitly if they consent to our team using Unity Analytics. Using the Unity Data Privacy Button covers me in this regard.
    2. I ONLY have to give the player the option to opt-out. I do not have to give them the option to opt-in.

    My Actions:
    1. I am only using Unity Analytics, no other Unity service.
    2. I am using Custom Events, but I am not collecting any parameter data or personal data from the experience.
    3. I have put the my Unity Data Privacy Plug-In Button on my first menu of the experience. It is somewhat small but generally as prominent as everything else there.

Are my bases covered here or I am missing something? I realize most people here are not lawyers, so if anyone can back up what they are saying with credible sources, that would be appreciated.

I believe you are correct, you should be covered.
