GameEvents does not exist in the current context

Hi,
i build my own game and wanted to intergrate a save system and followed this video along:

The problem is that i after that i got three times the same erro, telling me that "The name 'GameEvents' does not exist in the current context". Do you have any solution for this? I could send you my code if that would help.

Yes, go back and check your work. You have clearly missed a step. That "GameEvents" identifier is not part of Unity.

indded thats the case. The problem is that I habent found a part in the video where "GameEvents" is defined. I'll look it up again but I am certain i will not find anything

 

Well right away the first comment on that video is to NOT use the binary formatter, as we know that is insecure now.

So right away it's not a great choice of video to start from.

There's PLENTY of other fully functional load/save videos out there, so don't get hung up on this one.
