    Hi All,

I'm a new Unity user so forgive my ignorance if I missed something obvious. I'm having a strange problem where when I build and run my project the UI elements show for a split second and then immediately disappear. The development build works perfectly and so does the game preview window but not the release build. All that is in my scene is a single button on the default canvas. I haven't added any scripts or changed any important settings that I know. Where do I start to troubleshoot this? I didn't see any errors reported in output_log.txt. Are the other logs that I can check?

I'm using Unity 5.3 on Windows 10. My laptop has two graphics cards, and Intel HD 530 and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970m. I know having the dual cards causes some applications to misbehave but I don't know if this applies to unity.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Latest drivers installed on Both GC's..? (Unity 5.3.0 uses OpenGL 4.1 now...check to make sure your GC's are compatible)...the GeForce GTX should be with updated drivers...don' know about the Intel.. also can you switch between the two (as in primary / secondary if so try it)

I would be curious to know if Unity uses one of your GC's and when you run your build yet uses
    the other card...

Check your Console --->Editor Log and at the very top it should tell you what GC Unity is
    detecting...

    Hi Lar,

I updated my Intel drivers yesterday and still had this problem, but I updated them again today and it seems to be fixed. Strange.

I checked the log files and it is using the Intel GC.

    Thanks again
