Game starts but editor is grey

This has been happening for YEARS. Whats going on here? 20% of the time I start my game its a grey screen, I can use ctrl, alt P and then unpause and its fine. but its ridiculous, especially when youre trying to show off you game. Shall we add this to the 2 billion long buglist that will never be fixed? Yes we shall.
