game problem

hi I am currently making a game where one of the features is getting in and out of a car and I have been looking at many tutorials but I can't seem to find out how to do it I can't even get the car driving and I am using a car download of the unity asset store and the tutorial people are using like squares and I don't know if im doing something wrong or I can't use cars off the unity asset store please help btw I have been coding for 5 days almost so yeah its a big project but I really hope I can fix this because my friends are also into making the game as well and I really don't want to let them down

Definitely back up to some simpler tutorials and get the basics in hand first.

It sounds like you're making GTA... have you considered that this might be an extremely advanced game to start with?

You might want to start with a dozen or more very simple games to get a good understanding of what is involved here, otherwise you're going to waste a lot of your own precious time with mysterious issues.

 

Like @Kurt-Dekker said, you should start off with more simpler projects. You can't make a GTA without the proper experience- watch some Brackeys videos
