[Game Installation] British Airways - Visit Britain

Hi! We wanted to share with you our latest Unity work.

container21 got approached by Framestore Labs for a collaboration on a project for British Airways: an experience for Shanghai’s GREAT Festival of Creativity.

In just four weeks, we pushed to realize a Leap Motion controlled flight game; the player controls a BA airplane in a journey over a stylized Britain, trying to collect points by flying over the most renowned landmarks, like Buckingham Palace, the Shard, the Old Trafford stadium, the Edinburgh Castle and more.

It has also been a challenge seamlessly integrate it with Framestore’s sign-up tablet procedure and SQL database systems, but in the end everything came out as beautiful and fluid as we expected.

The low-poly contemporary aesthetic style has been chosen to appeal the target audience and produce a clean, polished and readable representation of Britain and its most important places.

The project is now live in Shanghai’s GREAT Festival of Creativity, and we’re happy to see even HRH Prince William gave it a go!
