    Good evening everyone!
After experimenting on my test build with sattelites, I came up with an idea of a game where the player controls a space station over an alien planet and can influence it in 'soft' ways but has to cover his actions so as not to reveal to aliens that other aliens (humans) exist. The goal is to raise them technologically right into their own space era.

I think the core mechanic could be managing your station energy to redistribute it within 3 spheres: monitoring, inluence and coverage.
And after writing this down I though would be better at first to ask for advice. Given the fact that it would probably require creating lots of variations of the story development, do you think it is possible to make such a game without a team?
    Thanks in advance!

It is possible to make a game like what you have described without a team. But if you're doing it alone, it might take a longer time to create though.

Probably also depends what visual fidelity you're aiming for. E.g. you could do that as a text game just using variables for all the things you're influencing etc. The more you scope it down, the more viable. Perhaps create in prototype pieces? Build without visuals and get feedback. Maybe add graphs? etc

Best described by the pictures in here :)

Thanks for the reply! And what about the story? Is it possible to make a normal prototype without it?

Well, according to the type of game you're making, having a story can sometimes help drive the game development process.
