    Hello, Unity world :)
i want to create simple game in 2D - "Dress the doll".
its self-explanatory, so i see the doll in the middle and all clothes at the side.
just drag and drop pieces to the proper place.
Could you please suggest me with design of the game. I am new to unity, so in which areas
I should focus: layers, planes, sprites, masks, etc. (?) ... Thank you for your help :)

I would suggest working with Triggers on each part of your doll. When you drag the appropriate clothes into the trigger it gets checked if its torso , legs , head , etc. and gets placed on doll's body.
I'd suggest go with tags and compare them when you place cloth on your doll.

Thank you for your reply, geek_freek! Is doll and clothes has to be in the different layers or planes (so when dress is on the doll, it will cover the body...) ? Or how else to solve problem with partially covering the doll?

I think you might me getting confused with Sort Order(What gets displayed first and so on). When you use sprites you can adjust the sortingOrder for those sprites through inspector. Even if all your sprites are in Default layer they will get displayed accordingly from the sortingOrder. I believe this is what your concern was ?
