Bug Game crash on Big Sur OS videos

    We launched our game 2 years ago. Users are reporting a game crash on BigSur caused by webm vp8 videos. Worked fine in Catalina. We upgraded to the latest version of unity with no luck.

    We have a similar issue in that ios builds made with a big sur Mac are crashing on iphone 12, ios 14.4. however, using a Catalina mac does not produce builds that crash on iphone 12.

    The webm vp8 videos seem to play/appear choppy from big sur builds. Then after a while the device hard crashes - reboots

    Is it with any webm vp8 video clip or anything particular?

    Videos have transparency, no audio with transcoding = true.

    If I get time I'll try submitting a bug report

    We disabled transcoding and no longer crashes

    Sorry for the delay! But we could not reproduce this issue. Any chance you could file a bug with a repro project so that we can see whats the difference between your set up and ours.
