Question Furnish an apartmente in VR

Hi all,
I'm new to VR development in Unity.
I want to do somthing like this:

but i don't have idea where to start. I've created all the 3D meshes, textures and so on,
what i need is just a starting point to do some inventory like the one show in the video, even less stilish.!
if someone can help me, i would be very grateful.

Write it down in as small steps as possible.

Map:
Object with multiple touch points
When object is touched teleport player there

Furniture:
Have multiple models
Turn models on and off depending on what is selected
Switch materials depending on what is selected


Etc.
And then start with the smallest steps
