Let's say I'm working on UI. I am zoomed in on a particular button. But I want to see a bit more so I do shift+spacebar to fullscreen my Scene view. What happens is that - especially if I'm zoomed in - once fullscreened the scene camera shifts its point of focus far away from that button, which was in the center of the scene view, to way off-screen. So, to get back to the button I was working on I have to zoom out and then zoom back in on it. That is annoying. It would be much better if when switching between fullscreen and not for Scene view it retained its center point so that the thing I was working on, or whatever is central, stays put at the center point.

    I couldn't reproduce this in Unity 2019.3.3f1.

However, thanks for the shortcut for maximizing the view! I didn't know that.
Here is one for you: "F" is focusing the current element (if you hover over the scene view. Also works for hierarchy).

    Aha! That's good enough. Thanks.

IDK why it wouldn't reproduce. Maybe it has something to do with my resolution, or 2019.2 or the buttons relative position on the screen, or where I'd put my Scene tab... "F" is good enough for me.
