Question FSR Dynamic Resolution on Steam Deck

    Hi,

    we are currently optimizing our game for the Steam Deck. We have dynamic resolution in the game. We offer the TAA mode and the
    EdgeAdaptiveScalingUpres (-> FSR) mode

    The Steam Deck has a performance overlay which also has a "FSR" true / false display. For our game it says "off". I'm not sure why. Maybe FSR isn't active for real? Is there anything else todo? (it does scale correctly, but not sure if it really uses FSR [but EdgeAdaptiveScalingUpres is set as the upscaling filter]).

    Or is this just working with FSR 2?

    The FSR label in the Steam Deck's performance overlay only shows the status for the Steam Deck's system level implementation of FSR which works by upscaling the final output buffer just before being sent to the display. It can't tell you whether FSR is active or not in a specific application
