I just stumbled upon the Friday the 13th: The Game Kickstarter page. As a horror-movie fan, I'm really looking forward to this game. The little that has been revealed so far looks promising, if you're into that kind of stuff :)

It's made in unreal engine, not unity.

Maybe we can persuade them to understand the error of their ways...
But then again, lawyers might do it first. At first glance, it doesn't appear to be being done with legal permission.
Sure, a game that takes place on the 13th of Friday wouldn't need it, but this is Jason and Crystal Lake, and campers...
Nevermind... They claim they have the rights to do this...

I wonder if it will be as good as the original NES game. My brother actually found a copy of it a few years ago but it doesnt work. I tried to get it to work last month on the actual Friday the 13th, but to no avail. I thought it would be pretty creepy if that was the only day it would work lol.

I don't see where anyone was claiming it was made in Unity. Game development topics don't have to be about Unity to be valid on these forums. You just can't do engine comparisons and the other usual flame war inducing nonsense.

It's already available with mixed reviews on Steam.
