    everyone i know LOATHES microtransacts/ dlc
    .. i would prefer my audience be as intelligent as iam, and the people i associate with...

    I hate them too. I've turned micro transactions off in the iOS settings on my various devices.

    However I acknowledge that good games these days come with micro transactions. It costs money to make games. And micro transactions are a great way to make that money. In reality its no different then the old shareware models. The first episode was free, but to play the full game you had to pay for it. Its just modern technology allows for much smaller, much more frequent, transactions.
